This semi-detached first floor holiday apartment is located in the countryside famous for the wines of Muscat and Côtes du Rhône, between the stunning Mont Ventoux and the charming Luberon, dotted with beautiful villages such as Caromb, Bédoin, Vacqueyras and Beaumes-de-Venise. The house offers a light and airy kitchen, 2 bathrooms, large bedrooms and a large balcony. Enjoy the lovely views over open countryside and relax in the large garden. The region is perfect for walkers and cyclists, while there are local markets to explore. Situated between the mountains and Provence, the Vaucluse is truly a unique region full of cypresses, vineyards, lavender and melons. The cities of Carpentras, 10km, and Orange and Avignon, 30km, are really worth a visit. Shop 500m and restaurant 800m.

Approximate distance to Nîmes airport is 84 km.

Steps to entrance. All on first floor: Lounge, kitchen, dining room, bathroom with bath, shower and basin (no toilet), shower room with basin (no toilet), separate toilet, 3 double bedrooms.

Oil heater, colour TV (French channels only), DVD player, wi-fi, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, lawned garden, balcony, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a step into the shower and steps in the garden. Sorry, no hen or stag parties.

    A perfect location for our cycling challenge up Mt Ventoux. The apartment is of a very high standard, well-equipped and enjoys a huge garage beneath for one's car and / or bikes. Although when we signed up for the property it clearly mentions add-ons such as linen, towels etc, it also mentions a 90 euros cleaning charge which we just couldn't come to terms with, but felt obliged to accept as this was the location for us. Upon arrival at the house, we were met by the agency representative who had advised us to bring plenty of cash for the add-ons previously mentioned, and, of course the cleaning bill. We took the opportunity to challenge her about this, after all, this would be the equivalent of one person spending about eight hours cleaning the place, which was a ludicrous proposition, and we are highly domesticated and clean people! She explained that she could do nothing about this, so we paid up 129 euros in total, before we'd even gathered our breath. However, on our day of departure, a week later, the agency turned up at the agreed time and returned 60 euros, which pleased us of course but also mystified us. The guys who came with the paperwork were unable to explain it. My feedback would be to make it quite clear that a portion of the cleaning bill would be returned in the event of a satisfactory inspection prior to departure. This has happened in the past, some years ago when I used Cottages4u regularly. In terms of the towels supplied and rented, they do need replacing desperately, being old, somewhat worn out and small. Not quite sure why some rental accommodation charges for linen and towels, after all, one doesn't pay separately for such items at hotels. Other than the above, it's a fine house.
