Tucked away in a quiet rural location and enjoying views over the Kensey Valley and surrounding countryside, these superb adjoining apartments (ref: T44, T45 and T46) lie within the grounds of the owners’ farmhouse. Set amongst open countryside, they have been renovated to a high standard and offer inviting holiday accommodation - perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Each property has access to the garden of the main house, where there is a play area. Fronted by an attractive courtyard with a barbecue and picnic area and two paddocks that are perfect for walking the dogs, visitors will find plenty of space to relax and unwind.
The apartments offer an ideal base for touring both Devon and Cornwall, and are within easy reach of the A30. Located centrally between north and south coasts, it is not more than a 25-minute drive from a selection of good sandy beaches ideal for rock pooling, surfing and dog walking. Boscastle and Tintagel, the small sandy cove of Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven, as well as some of the most spectacular coastal walks in the area can be found nearby. Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are within easy reach as are several magnificent National Trust houses and gardens. The popular Eden Project is also easily accessible.
Historic Launceston (1 mile), once the capital of Cornwall, offers a medieval castle, a selection of shops and a steam railway. There are two excellent golf courses within a short distance and a selection of horseriding schools nearby. We had a lovely time at Caradow. The owners Amy & Steve were very accommodating. The only downside of the apartment was the hot water was slow coming through when using the shower. Apart from that minor detail the stay was very enjoyable

This was our first experience of a cottage-type holiday and we were not disappointed. A beautiful barn conversion - all the comforts of home; high quality facilities. We were very comfortable. The owners, Steve and Amy, are very welcoming and whilst we seldom saw them. it was good to know that they were always available if we needed them. The care and attention they have given to ensure a really enjoyable stay is second to none.

Great holiday, it was what we needed. very well equipped, lovely bath. Great base to go for an adventure from. Short drive to Bodmin moors, the north coast and other great places. Our hosts were very kind and welcoming, provided fresh eggs from their chickens for a £1. The bed was a bit stiff, but not as bad as other cottages we have stayed in before. Highly recommended it.
