Lovely place in really handy location had a couple of strange things (towels extra and no toilet paper left for us although there was milk ?) but everything you needed for a great week in Edinburgh. Warning on the Low beams though easy to bang your head if you're tall!

We have stayed here quite a few times as it's very central to Edinburgh but nicely tucked out of the way too.

The location of the house was perfect and the area was very quiet. The house was in decent condition, but not perfect. The bed in the main bedroom was small and uncomfortable.

The Cottage Was Amazing Value For Money, It Was Fairly Well Located Just Outside The Area We Were Interested In. The Cottage Had A Very Homely Feel To It, It Was Comfy And Warm, There Was Also An Electric Fireplace If We Needed Extra Heat And An Electric Radiator. The Only Thing Negative To Say Was That I Really Struggled To Get Hold Of Anyone On Any Of The Numbers In The Welcome Pack And There Wasn't A Hair Dryer But Other Than That I Had A Really Great Time In Edinburgh And I Would Definitely Stay Here Again Damien Stoke-On-Trent

Great location - there were a couple of things in the flat that didnt work but they didnt spoil one single minute! Its a cozy space right in the middle of Edinburgh, car parking provided so you dont have to worry about that! Coffee shops, walks, history surround you. Do pop into the Gait pub - lovely people, great food, glorious beer and close.

Lovely comfortable and well equipped apartment. Essentials like loo roll, tea and milk provided- very grateful as arrived late. Fantastic location for sightseeing in Edinburgh, close to Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle, just off the Royal Mile in a surprisingly quiet spot. Parking provided in car park a few minutes walk away if required. We found it easy to reach from the airport, by bus and a 10 minute walk. Would defiantly stay here again. Edinburgh exceeded our expectations, stunning architecture, so many interesting attractions, would recommend the Botanic Gardens, Real Mary Kings Close, Royal Yacht Britannia, hop on hop off bus tours.

Very good location for visiting Edinburgh. Tour bus and local bus from airport (35 ) stops just across the road. Walking distance from centre of Edinburgh and located just up the road from Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace. Although located just off the busy Canongate/Royal mile once you pass through the archway to Campbell Close it's a very quiet location. Already booked for next year.

What a fantastic place to stay in Edinburgh. It is so convenient for everything you want to see and yet quiet due to its location. Within close walking distance are the People's Story, Edinburgh Museum, the Childhood Museum, John Knox House, Edinburgh Castle, Waverley Station, the Edinburgh Dungeon, the Writer's Museum, Holyrood Palace, the Scottish Parliament, Salisbury Crags, the Dynamic Earth, the Grassmarket, the national Museum of Scotland and the Elephant House coffee shop. Edinburgh Zoo is easily accessible by the 18A bus from Princes Street and the tourist buses run past Campbell's Close itself and provide a good overview of the city. The accommodation itself was well maintained, clean and smart and had everything you would want. The owner has clearly worked hard to make the place comfortable and cosy. The water pressure causes the toilet to make a noise when flushed but this is minor and could be resolved by a good plumber. The car parking arrangements were also very good. By cutting through St. John's Close to that car park it was very convenient and meant we could park up and walk or bus everywhere which was great. We really enjoyed staying at Campbell's Close and have already recommended it to several other people.
