    Fantastic location right on the Royal Mile within easy walking to all sights and activities. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a quiet haven just 10 mins from Waverley Train Station. We had family with us from Australia so needed the accommodation to be perfect . . . We were not disappointed! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

    very comfortable and well appointed apartment with excellent position for centre of the city. Would definitely use it again. The only comments I would make are that the carpet runners could be a bit of a health hazard as they curled up at the edges and they also had a habit of 'creeping' so we were constantly putting them back in place. Also, wifi wouldn't go amiss!

    Best, if you like at the same time Royal Mile, jogging in mountain atmosphere, a good beer without driving home by car, very good parking conveniance and public transport.

    Super location in the old town. Well equipped and comfortable apartment. Quiet and peaceful despite central location. Would definitely recommend. Only minors were lack of wifi , poor tv reception when weather is poor . On the other hand it's nice to be not have this modern technology for a few days. ! I understand the mats we're there to protect the carpets but they did present a trip hazard. Had a great holiday in Edinburgh and the apartment was definitely an added bonus. Thank you.

    Nice appartment with a very good location, closed to a lot of sights and the centre of Edinburgh. Very calm and good equiped. Thanks to the owner who gave us the park ticket. Wifi/W-lan would be nice for the future.

    Fantastic holiday apartment in a perfect location to enjoy Edinburgh. Just off the Royal Mile at the Holyrood end, the apartment is set back from the road in an old converted building with a lovely garden at the front. It almost feels like you're in the country yet you're in the heart of Edinburgh. There's a fantastic cafe just a few yards away which serves fab breakfasts (full Scottish for £6) and cakes etc. We had breakfast there every day. The apartment is beautiful, light and airy, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. There was even milk and water in the fridge with sugar and tea/coffee etc so we didn't have to take anything. There weren't any downsides to staying here at all but there's only one bathroom between two bedrooms. This wasn't a problem in the end as the couple we went with are good friends!

    Great apartment in an excellent location just off the Royal Mile. Everything we needed was provided and it was spotlessly clean. As BT customers we were able to use our BT Wi-Fi. We had a letter to advise us that towels were now included FOC but on arrival there was a paper saying there was a charge of £10 which we ignored as we assumed it was old information. We had to hunt the towels down, it would have been better if they had been left out for us. We travelled by train and it was just a 10 minute walk from the station. We will definitely return.

    Location of the apartment is ideal for exploring the city, the apartment itself is lovely. Could be cleaner as there were crumbs on dining table, the coasters look as if have never been washed, glass doors were dirty, finger prints etc, shower enclosure the same, could see cloth smudges where someone's just gone over it quickly, the sheets in a twin bedroom had stains on them, looks like they were refreshed but not washed properly or as if no one checked if they were clean. Tv very temperamental, in fact I wouldn't go as far as to say it worked, bad signal most of the time, picture very jumpy, can't really use it to relax to with a glass of wine after a long, cold winters day out sightseeing. There's no wifi either to keep you entertained, up to date or in touch with family which for a 21st century city apartment I find most disappointing. Because of lack of wifi, one can't check any opening hours, cost of tickets for attractions or indeed book a table or read a review about a restaurant, before booking. The literature provided, is not up to date, we were visiting in Feb 2017, most of brochures were relating to 2016, if not all. So opening hours or entry fees to various attractions were a mystery, again wifi would have fixed this problem. Overall, great location, pleasant apartment but not very clean, no tv (not really), no wifi. Oh, and then the towels, not included in the cost of apartment. I opted in a direct conversation to pay the extra £10, no problem, but still there was no towels ready on our arrival anywhere, couldn't get hold of anyone on the phone, so found some in the wardrobe and helped ourselves. Overall mixed feelings, because if one wants a get away from it all break (tv, wifi), one books a rural retreat and not a city break and then there's the questionable up keeping.

    Very good situated and cosy. No WLAN and still 10 Pound extra for towells. But the location is top, 10 minute to Calton Hill, 10 Minutes to High street. Tesco nearby.
