Very nicely presented and with a generous welcome 'tray', the accommodation was comfortable and once we mastered the controls of the heating we were warm and cosy. A friendly personal welcome and the reassurance of help if needed from next door. Beds are a matter of opinion; they suited us and our young grandchildren very well, giving us excellent sleeps. The outlook isn't spectacular but you don't need to go very far for outstanding views which, in our case were enhanced by snow caps on the hills. Magical! For the size of the property it was quite roomy. It's homely, modern, family friendly and has character.

Lovely cottage with lots of home comforts but it was cold. The underfloor heating in the kitchen didn't work. The conservatory was freezing and that was the only place there was a table. It was a shame because I loved the cottage. A small fold down table in the lounge would be beneficial during the colder months.

Although a lovely cottage, it needs a deep clean. Unfriendly owners dog to our puppy but lovely owners. The electric job is an accident waiting to happen as it stays red hot including the metal top for ages after use.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thanks for your comments, we value all feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay but apologise if you found the cottage in need of a deep clean. As owners, we clean the property ourselves and take great care to ensure it is extremely clean for all our guests. As you stayed towards the end of a very busy summer season, we apologise if it was a little tired. We have since had a three week closure period during which some bathroom and other fittings have been renewed and the whole interior has been repainted.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A pleasant cottage although lounge furniture does need updating. The wicker furniture was not comfortable and would be better suited in a conservatory.
