Fantastic break and Elaine was there if we needed anything. Property lovely and well equipped. We enjoyed staying on a working farm. The only issue was lack of an internet signal. It is BT but we never got a signal during the week. There were other locations on the Llyn where we did get access so not really a problem, but if you are an internet nerd you might be frustrated ! If you want a nice quiet week in an excellent location with good access to all the towns, villages and beaches on the Llyn- just go.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your break at Cae Bach Cottage. Good news… the broadband is now up and running, BT have worked very hard to rectify the situation, and I am so pleased as this has been such a hassle for both myself and my guests.

Overall disappointed with the cottage master bed very uncomfortable shower next to useless didn't work, lots of background noise from kennels by side of cottage and lots of activity from neighbouring properties, not a peaceful location. Also wifi supposed to be fixed but wasn't . No attraction being attached to farm, just smell from unsightly silos.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Firstly, I am sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your experience here with us. We do advertise as a working farm, and depending on weather, harvest time, calving time etc., levels of noise and smells will obviously vary, but I must impress that no one has ever complained about this before. Being an old converted building, the walls are very thick in Cae Bach and the windows are double glazed. In answer to the bed, we do ask our guest about it, and in the main most people say it is comfortable, and comment to this effect, and we consider it fine as everyone has different preferences. The shower worked both before and after this visit, so I can only assume that the main switch wasn’t turned on. We feel sorry that we were not informed at the time so that we could have done something about it there and then. Finally, the internet. I pay for the service for our guest to use, but due to the local area, the service cannot be guaranteed to be available at all times due to the unpredictability of service providers. We are always available and happy to help if customers have any problems whilst at our property.

Peaceful break with lots of nice walking around the area, and lovely beaches. Snowdonia also in easy reach. Cottage decor is a bit dated but this because it is full of personal character. Right in the middle of a working dairy farm. Cows very friendly but can be some noise very early in the morning. Farm family very friendly and welcoming. Very good value for money in high season.

Lovely cottage, rural location so very peaceful and quiet. Is on owners farm, so owner is close by if needed and after popping over upon arrival to show us how things worked left us to our own devices, very friendly. Cottage well equipped, is not necessarily modern but has everything you need and is charming. After being warned the Wifi could be hit and miss, we had constant connection all apart from one day. There is an enclosed garden, not quite direct access from the cottage but near enough - and there is a very brave chicken at the bottom of the garden who didn't mind two curious dogs. Nice and dog friendly, no restrictions and rules like some places about where they can and can't go in the cottage etc. Would def go back.
