As I have trouble walking I found all the steps troublesome but my family enjoyed it .

The cottage was everything we needed as a base for visiting the beautiful countryside of North Wales. The equipment and comfort levels were exceptional and the owners very friendly. Games room and zip wire brilliant for the kids.

My family and I had a fantastic holiday. The location was beautiful and situated perfectly to the majority of surrounding attractions. The games room kept all members of the family entertained. We would definitely return to Caban Coed.

Caban Coed was perfect for us - we have family living in Bethesda and so they all came over on the Sunday making 25 of us in total - the games room and zip wire came into their own! We managed to eat on the balcony a few times which was very special. Andy and family were all friendly and helpful.

The over all experience was amazing. The rooms were all very clean and very comfortable. It was a very nice touch to have a games room as most of the nights we spent in there to playing pool. Very pleased with our stay and would look to returning in the near future.

We had a great time. The games room was an absolute plus. Well used in the evenings!! Not the most modern cottage but very cosy.

The facilities were very good. The owners were friendly, very helpful and hospitable. Inside the cabin was clean, warm and very spacious. Externally the cabin would have benefitted from a coat of varnish, and the grounds around it were a bit overrun with weeds, but this didn't spoil our stay. It was good to have the use of the field opposite the cabin for the children and the dog to play safely. We would usually choose accommodation nearer to the coast, the narrow lanes were awkward at times.

Ideal property for a family get together. Bigger than we expected , clean and warm. The games room, zip wire and field a big hit with everyone. Plenty to do even in February. We would definitely book to stay again.

Fabulous cabin, warm clean and comfortable. Myself, husband and six daughters stay at Cavan coed for Christmas and despite the floods and storms had a wonderful time. The cabin is lovely and the games room was a big hit with all the family( although my husband and myself think a dart board would be a excellent addition to the room). Even though it was very wet the zip wire was great fun and the girls loved the animals and milly the dog. The washer/dryer was a bonus as was the dish washer. The beds were warm and comfortable and the kitchen table was a lively place to sit and eat with the view looking across to the castle. I would, and have recommend Caban coed to others and we will be returning in the summer to conquer zip world and make a return visit to Aber falls which is beautiful. The owners where hospitable and welcoming and the tea and cake on arrival went down a treat after a 7 hour drive. You won't be disappointed.
