We had an amazing stay. Extremely friendly welcome from Rob. Perfect cottage in an ideal situation. Lovely and peaceful but not too far from amenities. Would definitely stay again

Attractive, comfortable and well-appointed cottage. Quiet area, well away from any main roads, so it felt as though we were on our own (barely noticed the neighbouring cottages). It's in a good location for the Brecon Beacons, south Wales and Pembrokeshire coast. We had a wonderful week and would happily book again.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments regarding your stay at Bwthyn Glas Y Dorlan (Kingfisher Cottage); we appreciate visitors taking the time to give us feedback. Our aim is to make the cottage as comfortable, attractive and homely as possible and to make improvements where needed. In response to some recent comments we have bought a new set of patio furniture, which we hope everyone who visits the cottage will enjoy.

Warm welcome from owner. Beautiful cottage & location. Garden perfect for our border collie. So many wonderful places to visit. There are just two things which could be improved a dishwasher and updated patio furniture. Would definitely book again and have recommend to others who have also booked.

The cottage was more spacious than we thought it was going to be from the photos and the garden was really interesting with its woodland and stream. We loved staying in this very peaceful spot of Wales and found the little town nearby very handy for shops and we found a lovely pub 5 mins away which served lovely food. We did light the fire a couple of nights but the wood burning stove was very smokey. Also the ground floor double bed was uncomfortable. The only other thing was that we would have liked to have used the patio furniture but it has seen better days and one chair was broken and the others rusty. Nevertheless we had a lovely holiday at the Kingfisher cottage.

Lovely cottage in beautiful setting. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Perfect for a relaxing holiday and excellent for our dog too with large enclosed garden. Would highly recommend this to others. Only small point is the patio furniture needs updating but it would not stop me returning. Lots of places to visit nearby - excellent for walking

Went on holiday with my Mum (82) and our two dogs, we had a lovely stay, the cottage was beautiful, so clean, it had everything we would want. It was lovely watching all the birds coming into the garden. The location was great, we got to go to lot's of places all within a 35mins drive.
