Description

This wheelchair firendly property is situated in a wonderful area for exploring mid Wales, fantastic facilities on-site to be enjoyed.

These 3 beautiful and spacious barn conversions are set on a working sheep and beef farm, and each property has its own private hot tub. The farm itself has 140 acres, and the farmland links up to the Ystwyth Cycle Trail which is over 16 miles long. The interiors of the properties have vaulted ceilings, modern lighting, and furnished with leather sofas and wood-burning stoves, each with a hot tub available. All 3 properties (refs OA5, OA6 and OA7) can be booked together to form one large house sleeping 12, and they all have interconnecting doors which can be opened up. There is also the option of taking a horse on holiday, the farm has 6 loose boxes and a paddock which can be made available. Located near Tregaron, a small Welsh-speaking market town where guests can visit the famous Rhiannon Welsh Gold Centre that offers beautiful gifts and a fantastic art gallery. Tregaron is also famous for its trotting races, which are actually held here at Dolyrychain Farm on the Sunday following the May bank holiday and also over the August bank holiday weekend each year. The event is the largest of its kind and attracts over 10,000 visitors. This is a haven for walkers and cyclists with the Cambrian Mountains at the foot of the farm and the panoramic Pumlumon Mountains to the north. Visit the university town of Aberystwyth, home of the National Library of Wales, take a walk on the promenade or even catch the electric cliff railway on Construction Hill. For a magical day out take the narrow gauge railway from Aberystwyth to the heart of the Pumlumon Mountains where the destination will be the world famous Devils Bridge and Rheidol Falls. Ideal for fishing, as there is private fly fishing 2 miles away, as well as other fishing venues close by. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Spacious living/dining room with wood-burning stove, slate floor and spacious kitchen area with slate floor. Twin bedroom with zip & link beds. Shower room with toilet. Beautiful cottage, lovely and cosy. Modern and clean with a fab outdoor space for the kids. Very friendly hosts and everything we could need. We went as two families and between us have two boys with special needs. We needed a place that was private, quiet and calm with everything we would need for both calm space and entertainment. The area and house were absolutely great for all of us. Both boys had an amazing time. Loved the hot tub, outdoor climbing frame, and the facilities were perfect. We felt very spoilt with the underfloor heating. Need to be prepared to be a long way from food shops etc but once you are stocked up it is a gorgeous break in the countryside.

Lovely cottage!! We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the area. Ideal for a quiet getaway and I would definitely go back again without the children for some peace and a rest. The hot tub was a welcome bonus after a day exploring the surrounding area.

Excellent accommodation, all done to a high specification. It feels like the owners take pride in the standard achieved, justifiably.

Lovely cottage, enjoyed the peace and quiet combined with the close proximity to the village and larger facilities of Tregaron. Hosts helpful and attentive whilst leaving us to enjoy our holiday. My teenagers loved hot tub and outdoor lifestyle, helped by fantastic weather. Lovely see local children playing rugby in the field and enjoying the beautiful. Limited phone signal on EE which for us was a bonus. Wifi good enough to social media if needed contact.

Had an amazing long weekend here, beautiful location with stunning views, the cottage and grounds were faultless and immaculate, very comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. Owners could not have been more accommodating, provided a very warm welcome and excellent recommendations for meals and days out. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub too which was a welcome addition. I could not recommend this property highly enough - would love to go back.
