Really fantastic cottage in the middle of beautiful rolling hills - ideal for a quiet family break and equally good as a base for a cycling holiday! The cottage itself is very well appointed with modern appliances, plenty of room and great views. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners who took the time to make sure we were settled in and knew where the local amenities were, as well as recommending places of interest to visit while on our stay. In the cottage was a nice welcome pack with a selection of Welsh local produce - a very nice touch! The owners also popped back after a couple of days to ensure everything was ok - again a nice personal touch. We stayed in the October half term in the middle of a cold snap, the cottage was toasty warm with hot water on demand. The bedrooms are of a good size but if you are tall then you will be a little crouched in the upstairs bedroom as the ceilings slope quite steeply from the center. We have been renting cottages around the UK and Wales for years in the half term breaks and I can honestly say this was one of the cleanest, best appointed and well placed we have stayed at - highly recommend it staying here!

Very warm welcome from Wynn and Alan. Lovely clean and comfortable cottage with well layed out and fully equiped modern kitchen. Plenty of space so that our dog could run and play as well as a large playing field about 50 yards from the cottages. Even though there were four linked cottages it was lovely and quiet with no noise eminating through from the neighbours. Plenty of places to visit all within 20 miles especially Bwlch Nant yr Arian, to see the feeding of the red kites and the Rheidol Valley Railway from Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge. A totally enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Well done Wynn and Alan.

We loved our stay at the cottage. Couch and chairs are a bit bony for a family of 4, but we still enjoyed to relax in the evening. Beautiful place. Great base for exploring the coast. We had one of our best holidays. Short drive to new quay, mwnt, penbury etc. Worth a stretch to poppit sands and so on! Just gorgeous. 😃

As soon as we arrived we found a lovely welcome pack. The owners were very friendly and popped in to check everything was ok. The cottage was clean and had a practical layout with tasteful decor. The location was very peaceful with red kites flying overhead in a rural landscape. An ideal place to relax with the family and a base to explore the area. We would definitely recommend a stay at Beudy Bach.
