Description

This beautiful conversion is located within easy reach of local amenities, tourist attractions and the Ceredigion coastline.

Bwlch Y Person Barns are beautiful conversions of traditions Welsh long barns. Located in a tranquil setting surrounded by rolling countryside, these wonderful properties boast character, charm and all the comforts for the perfect countryside holiday with a resident barn owl in the grounds. Close to the borders of both mid and south Wales, these very comfortable properties provide perfect holiday accommodation. The four cottages, Cartws (ref. OH3), Stabl (ref. OH4), Beudy Bach(ref. OH5) and Beudy (OH2) form a right angle shape with parking in front, with lovely views across the countryside and all have their own terraces with furniture. Families will appreciate the separate recreational area with football posts and nets, picnic bench and table set away from the cottages. For added enjoyment, two of the cottages feature their own private hot tubs. Both Beudy Bach and Beudy have hot tubs at the rear of the cottages on their enclosed patios.
All are ideally placed for exploring the dramatic and truly scenic Ceredigion coastline. The picturesque and colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is only 6 miles away where there is a selection of interesting independent shops and a great choice of restaurants and eateries including, fish and chips, ice cream parlour and fine dining. The National Trust house and gardens of Llanerchaeron are 4 miles away and from here there’s a delightful level pedestrian country footpath, suitable for bikes, pushchairs or wheelchairs, which leads into Aberaeron. Pretty New Quay with boats bobbing about in the harbour is just a few miles further on, and is definitely worth a visit. You must look out for the resident pods of bottlenose dolphins seen in the bay on an almost daily basis! Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Our family had a fantastic weeks holiday at Beudy Bach. Great welcome pack on arrival, well laid out kitchen (we liked the ironing board in the drawer!), lovely warm house from the underfloor heating, and generally larger than we were expecting with a name of 'Bach'! We particularly enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and liked the privacy of the property, being accessed from the opposite side of the other three properties on site. We knew it was in a rural location, but there's a well stocked Costcutter shop in Ystrad Aeron less than two miles away, and it's also perfectly placed for visiting the lovely National Trust property of Llanerchaeron. Diolch am gwyliau dda!

Beautiful cottage and made to feel so welcome by the owners. Especially surprised by the welcome hamper. We will be back and are already recommending it to friends and family.

We've just enjoyed a lovely stay at Beudy Bach. It is newly fitted-out and spotlessly clean - everything worked well (although the television was a bit hard to navigate... but we didn't want to watch it anyway!). The location is remote and guests will need a car - there's no wandering to the local pub or shop. But if remote is what you want, Beudy Bach provides! The hot tub was the highlight (again, extremely clean) and it's positioned privately on the cottage's decking: the remoteness of the beautiful rural location was perfect for night time dips. Specific towels for hot tub use are provided (with fluffier ones for the bathroom), as well as plastic drinking vessels - this was eminently sensible and a good example of how the cottage's owners had thought carefully about what guests would need and use. The bedroom in the eaves of the cottage is low-ceilinged and quirky: this room is best suited to children. One disadvantage was that the stairs from downstairs lead directly into this room, with no door: we would have to be very quiet until we were sure that our young children were asleep! (This was not a particular hardship, though.) Despite the cold weather of our visit to Wales, the cottage was always really warm - including the room in the eaves, which could have been prone to draughts. We were really comfortable throughout our stay, quickly felt right at home and would definitely return to Beudy Bach.

Beautiful cottage. . everything at hand. Gorgeous outlook and the owners are lovely people. . very helpful. Local village nearby. Nice relaxing hot tub which was well appreciated after a chilly walk on the beach. The field across from the cottage is large and perfect for dog walking! Will return Carla from.Greater Manchester

We had a lovely time, beautiful cottage, everything you could possibly want in a home away from home. Would have no hesitation in staying here again.
