Beautiful part of the world. Flat would be improved by dishwasher, washing machine, non 80's furniture and WiFi all of which I've had for less money in Lake District a number of times before. Basic but decent enough.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback, we take all comments on board. We may consider adding a dishwasher and washing machine in the future, in the meantime we have carried out a number of improvements to Buttercup recently including renewing the interior decor, we are in the process of reviewing all the furniture with a view to replacement, and we are awaiting installation of WiFi shortly.

Lovely little cottage - nothing flash but clean, warm and comfortable in a quiet location. Well equipped kitchen and within a very short walk to two pubs both serving good food. Plenty of information on the surrounding area, an ideal base for exploring.

Lovely village setting. Uncomfortable seating. Could have been cleaner. Lack of parking close to cottage and mucky path outside door. Plenty hot water but heating not very good.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments, we are in the process of reviewing the furniture. Our cleaners are fully aware of the standard of cleanliness that we expect. The parking information has been updated so customers are now clear about the options of where to park. The thermostats for the central heating have been checked and the path outside the cottage is cleaned regularly, although as we are adjacent to the church green with a few trees, as well as a public lane, there is invariably a degree of natural debris.

A nice little apartment, BUT very dark due to only a very small window on the floorlevel and skylights. It was roomy and wellequipped and in a lovely village location.l

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry you found the property dark. The small windows are in keeping with the character of the original Town Farm buildings, being over 100 years old, although the large velux window in the living room does give a lighter airy feel to the room. We can review additional lighting though, in view of your comments so thank you.

Had a great week in beadnell. Only cricism would be the lack of a better third bed. The one we were provided with was uncomfortable. Other than that very clean and tidy all you really need as a nice little base to explore the area from. Felt like home to me and my girls after a few hours!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that you found the z-bed uncomfortable but pleased that you were able to feel at home.
