In a perfect rural location Buttercup Cottage is one of two peaceful cottages (the other being Bramble Cottage DC4893) which have been delightfully converted from a former farm cart shed. Well equipped and tastefully furnished, each cottage has its own patio for relaxing and taking in the views after a day out exploring this lovely corner of Yorkshire. There is under floor heating for those cooler days ensuring a comfortable stay at any time of the year. This area is a haven for bird watchers, Red Kites, Curlews and Lapwings can all be seen in close proximity to the properties. Ideal for touring and enjoying the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales, Slate Rigg Farm Cottages provide a perfect and attractive setting. The picturesque village of Ripley is a 15 minute walk away with the splendour of Ripley Castle, gardens, tea shop and grounds to visit and during the summer numerous events are hosted in the castle grounds. Ripley has a traditional butchers shop, delicatessen, church, Post Office and a pub. The spa town of Harrogate, a 10 minute drive away has a theatre, cinema, restaurants and excellent shopping to combine to make an enjoyable day out.This property can be booked together with Bramble Cottage (DC4893) to accommodate up to five guests.
Ground Floor: With oil fired underfloor heating and comprising:Sitting/dining room: with flatscreen TV/DVD player and radio/CD player. Kitchen area: with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, iron/ironing board and double door to patio. Bedroom 1: with a super king size bed which can be separated into twin beds as needed, flatscreen TV, en suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC. Bedroom 2: with single bed. Bathroom: with mains shower over bath, WC.
Oil fired underfloor heating and all electricity included in the rent. Bed linen and towels provided. Wi-Fi. Patio with garden table and chairs. Private parking. No smoking please. One well controlled dog welcome to be kept on lead at all times due to nearby livestock, free of charge. Shared utility room/laundry with washing machine, dryer, freezer, storage for walking boots, out door equipment and bicycles.
