We enjoyed our stay, however I don't think the cottage deserves the rating it's been given by previous visitors. The 2 wet rooms were not clean when we arrived, i suggest they need a thorough clean and the flooring needs updating. Both bedroom carpets need replacing. The kitchen was clean, but was lacking some essential utensils and the cooker knob temperatures were rubbed off. We were provided with 1 tea towel for a family of 5 for 7 days. The dishwasher didn't work, we reported it and were told the engineer had been out but couldn't see anything wrong. We managed to get it to work once in the week we were there. The sofas were old and tired, uncomfortable and need replacing as do the worn out scatter cushions. The cable box for the television wasn't working on arrival, but we managed to get a picture by wrapping the cable and balancing it under the box! There were positives, tea and cake on arrival, comfortable beds, nice cot for baby, lovely outdoor space and play area for kids. Overall not awful, and we enjoyed our holiday but feel the house needs some attention.

A real home from home, well equipped with everything you need. Good location, a short drive into the centre of Bude along the costal route is lovely. The owners are just lovely and we will be back!

Michael and Carol were lovely and the cottage was fantastic! We would happily go there again and are thinking about booking for next year. There was cake and tea waiting for us when we arrived and they came to see us off when we left, what a great experience, thanks.

We had an amazing time. We wished we had been staying for another week. Only draw back was the road works being done on the access road but it wasnt to much if an issue we still had an amazing time. The owners Carol and her husband were friendly and welcoming. Would go back given the opportunity.

A lovely cottage perfect for families! The kids loved the cottage and the play area, whicj kept them busy when we were not out and about. The wetrooms are a great feature and having 2 bathrooms was very time saving. The kitchen is well equipped, including a tumble dryer and a cafetiere. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable, I would not hesitate to book Miller's Rest again! In terms of location, it was perfect, ca. 1 mile off the main road which was very quiet, bliss! There is so much to do in the surrounding area, we literally ran out of time to do all the things we had planned! one of our best holidays so far! The owners are lovely and made us very welcome.
