A beautiful home perfect for families or friends, spacious, comfortable and convenient for strolling into the town to eat at one of the many restaurants or a walk along the sea front.

Burford is a renovated Victorian holiday property which sits in a quiet residential part of Penzance, within easy walking distance to the promenade, sea front, Jubilee lido and Penlee House, with its gardens and gallery. One of a row, is set over three levels with many original period features and is ideal for exploring Penzance, the nearby fishing harbour at Newlyn, the quaint village of Mousehole and the gateway to West Cornwall. Take a stroll to the sea front or the heart of Penzance, with its great choice of restaurants, cafés, shops and art galleries. There is also a tennis club and the Cornish Pirates rugby ground close by. Penzance overlooks Mounts Bay, with St Michael’s Mount rising from the sea perched on its tiny rock island. The mount can be reached on foot at low tide by causeway or by small boat at high tide from the historic town of Marazion. There is a white sandy beach, perfect for long sunny days, or breathtaking, wind-swept walks in the autumn and winter months. Take a short drive to St Ives or hop on the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth to St Ives town, and pass some of the area’s most beautiful beaches and the wide estuary at Hayle. Visit Sennen Cove or Whitesand Beach, which is popular with surfers. Explore legendary Lands End, with its wild coastal paths, or take the scenic coastal drive from Pendeen to St Ives, over heather-clad moorland passing Zennor. Sea front and esplanade 200 yards. Shop 440 yards, pub 150 yards.

Fab place to stay one of yje best, really clean, comfortable, aga takes a while to warm but once you get used to it it s fine, could be problem for someone not used to aga. Only other problem is parking , bit of a nightmare!! Overall great holiday.

Burford is a lovely house in a great location. It is convenient for the beach, lido, shops, restaurants and anything else you might want for your holiday. The house is well equipped so if you do want to cook your own meals then there is everything that you need. We had great trips out to St Michaels Mount, walking to Mousehole and Newlyn and an easy trip on the bus to Lands End and St Ives when we didn't feel like driving. Great time had by all
