Cozy little cottage, the décor is a bit outdated but still comfortable, great location for long walks. During our stay we saw rabbits, deer, pheasants and lots of spring flowers. Local amenities are far but owners are extremely helpful and kindly offered to take us to the nearest shop or to buy us some groceries. I would recommend this cottage if you want a silent retreat to hide away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Very small cold and damp. Poor cooking facilities.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We find this review deeply disappointing since this guest did not stay in our cottage. Shortly after arriving the guests decided the property was too small for them and decided to leave, they were given a partial refund, based on the fact the cottage could not be re-let for that period. The size of the cottage is accurately depicted in the photos and the description which describes it as cosy and our other reviewers describe it as compact. Therefore guests can decide prior to booking whether the property is suitable for them.

A tiny well presented comfortable cottage with just enough space and limited cooking facilities, best for those intending to be out and about most of the day in the surrounding area. There is plenty to do, but you need a car. Quite a long walk to the local facilities.

Compact cottage in the most beautiful setting. Perfectly positioned for travel to many places as a short distance away from a good road network. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen very compact and the sofa has seen better days.

A compact and querky little cottage, with all of the basics necessary for a relaxed week away from the busyness of everyday life. Very comfortable bed. The cottage warms up quickly if the central heating is needed. Sadly it wasn't chilly enough to need to light the dear little wood burning stove. Peaceful, scenic rural location, but with quick and easy access to main roads for exploring the wider area. Good local pubs serving great food, and nearby vinyard with restaurant/cafe on-site.

Really nice cosy cottage. Small but perfectly formed and has everything you need. Limited cooking facilities but the combined oven/microwave and 2 hobs are fine for occasional use. Nice selection of games and DVDs there. Lots of lovely pubs nearby to eat out too. Great location. Lovely walks available from cottage for dogs. Owner very welcoming and helpful.
