Lovely, cosy cottage in a great location. Minutes away from beautiful Llanbedrog and a short drive to Abersoch and Hells Mouth. Neighbours and owners were extremely friendly and helpful, garden is huge and the cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. Good value for money between 5 of us, we will definitely stay again. My only tiny criticism would be the back gate to the garden, we had 2 small puppies with us that could easily have got through or under the gate which leads through another garden straight on to a busy road. We just put some boxes over the gaps in the gate. It wasn't a problem but a wooden gate with no gaps which goes down to the floor would be great!

We enjoyed a week at Bryn Tirion as a family of three. The cottage is lovely, has good facilities and is well located for exploring the Llyn Peninsula. The owners were next door during our stay and were polite, friendly and helpful. The fridge, mentioned in other comments, didn't seem as cold as it could have been but I kept meat in the freezer and it didn't cause us any problems. The B road running in front of the house is fairly busy (we were woken a few times during the night) but there is a front garden to the property with a wall and a gate so you don't leave the front door and step directly onto the road. There are a selection of books, videos and games to keep you entertained, we enjoyed a few games of Jenga in the evenings. My in-laws were meant to join us but were unable to, which was possibly as well because I think, with a few minor mobility issues, my father in law would have struggled with some of the small things like table having benches instead of chairs at the table, the living room only had comfortable seating for 4 adults and the bedrooms are quite cosy. If the 6th bed was pulled out and in use I'd imagine you'd only be able to get into bed at the foot end of the bed. The weather was lovely most of the time we were there so we were outside for most of our time, but during the evenings, as a party of 5, it would have been a squash inside. All in all, it is a great holiday cottage and as a family of three we would re-visit. If we had more adults in our group I would look for something bigger.

bedding needs updating, pillows need to be replaced, dinning room chairs would be nice, garden chairs were all broken and unusable ( we had two very good day when it would have been nice to set out side )

Overall it was very disappointing so much so we actually left 3 days early. The cottage is situated on a busy road, there isn't a pavement so it's very difficult leaving the house with children. Traffic started at 6.30am without fail so we were woken up to lorries, buses and cars going past every morning. Whilst it was clean and fairly well equipped there was a strong smell of damp. In fact one of the kitchen cupboards contained an oven glove that was covered in mildew. The toaster didn't work properly and the TV kept going off intermittently. There were also issues with the fridge as items kept in it went off well before the best before date including the milk left as a welcome pack. We also tried to contact the owners to take up the additional charge for Wifi so that we could make plans for the week and book various activities. Unfortunately having left a message on our second day no contact was made from them which was a little disappointing.

I am a single parent with 2 boys, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Janet and Tim were staying next door during our stay and they were very helpful and friendly. The cottage was well equipped, cosy and met all our expectations. If I was to have a little moan about anything and to help with future rentals, the fridge in the kitchen did not get cold enough to keep perishables fresh and also the rubber on the bottom of the shower screen had come away in the corner which resulted in the bathroom floor becoming very wet, once we realised we made sure the shower was pointing away from the screen and placed a cloth there to avoid further leaks. The beach in Llanbedrog was as described - sheltered and my boys couldn't get enough of it. The staff at the local pub The Ship were friendly and very accommodated. We felt very at home in the cottage and would fully recommend to friends.
