We stayed in Bryn Tirion for a two week break and loved it from the moment we arrived, inside it is very comfortably and decorated in a sympathetically rustic fashion. Kitchen equipment was good and although we did turn up with our own just in case, we particularly liked the slow cooker provided which allowed us to prep a meal at breakfast, spend the day out and come home to a hot meal. The kids would have liked a slightly bigger TV on the couple of grey days we had but we were not there to watch TV, the only thing that would really would be a good addition would be a washing machine or washer dryer. Outside, what can I say? The cottage is surrounded by fields to which we had access, we had some great days birding, blackberry picking and just walking and enjoying the space. There was a selection of birds in the garden / fields and great selection of insects and other wildlife. On our stay we also had the pleasure / privilege of watching the Swallows in the nest inside the porch fledge. The view from the patio was also breathtaking as it gives lovely clear views across to Snowdonia. As an astronomer I also enjoyed the relatively dark sky of the location and spent several nights out on the patio stargazing. The light dome from Holyhead was behind the cottage and was not strong enough to swamp out a feint Aurora on our final night. Light pollution from Bangor / Caernafon across the Menai was also unobtrusive. Would we stay here again? Absoulutely

Lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful location, enjoyed walks around the grounds and watching the wildlife surrounding the cottage. Great place to get away from it all.

Very quiet location with superb views except for the cloud and mist! Loved the sun lounge area and spent most of my time at the cottage in this area. Kitchen would benefit from a daylight bulb and glass shade to provide a bit more light, this was mentioned to the owner.

A fantastic place to stay, which was very cosy and peaceful. It was wonderful to walk and sit in the lovely gardens with just the birds singing and the rabbits playing in the field! Having suffered from over a year of builders noise opposite our own house, it was wonderful to get away from these for a week to enjoy the peace that the area offered. We hope to come back again soon!
