Kids enjoyed staying at the cottage, on our arrival kids want to go out in the back garden for fresh air and there was a stream as they were told off by neighbours not to walk over the bridge to look at the stream and it's not safe for dogs or small kids to play and the garden is not that big as we thought. I advise all the parents to keep eye on the kids in case the neighbour turns not very nice.

We have been visiting Bryleigh for at least seven years and intend to visit for many years to come. It is comfortable and the people in the village are very friendly. The cottage is very well equipped with many thoughtful touches. The Red Lion is excellent and we are treated as if we were locals.

it was perfect for a weekend meeting up with friends. It was cosy with plenty of wood for the fire. Good pub near by and playing field for the kids and dogs.

Property was very cold when we arrived and there is damp on the walls in the downstairs bedroom. Would benefit from wifi too. That being said when the fire was lit it was very cosy and the location is fantastic, the pub down the road was lovely and served delicious food and beer.

This was a special family celebration and the cottage did not let us down. Super pub across the road for our anniversary meal. A little cold and musty on our arrival but we are at that time when leaving on storage heaters is problematic. No promised logs for the stove but we were easily able to contact owner who was very amenable. In event, we did not buy and charge up logs as not really needed and other heating facilities acceptable. Left on two of storage heaters for next guests when we departed as agreed with owner. Upstairs double room, one mattress reported as uncomfortable, otherwise, no complaints. Very roomy and well provided living areas.
