Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and the cottage was charming, and we'd have no problem staying there again especially with it's close vicinity to a pub which we thought was one of the best. The cottage lacked for nothing in the way of equipment, the only criticism we have, is maybe the owners need to visit in order to tweek a few things, the duvets and some of the bedding could be replaced, and a few things felt a bit tired. Overall we were very happy and won't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Thank you

Lovely old cottage but the interiors and amenities are very basic and there is no internet connection.

Overall a lovely cottage in a great location let down by lack of cleanliness and some equipment. Plus we have never stayed in a cottage before that didn't even provide a pint of milk on arrival!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We were sorry to hear of your disappointment. Guests are advised to contact ourselves or the agency whilst at the property if there is something they are not happy with so that it can be rectified as soon as possible. We will pass your comments to our Cleaning Company. In relation to the pint of milk, we have found that guests prefer to either bring or purchase their own as there are so many dietary requirements that we cannot cater for all of them.

We enjoyed the cottage, great quiet location in a beautiful part of the country. However, we found a few niggles like not to be left even a dish cloth, to wash up or the first couple of dish washer tablets to get you started , soap in the downstairs toilet for hands or any cleaning products to make it easy to tidy any spills. etc this is normal in cottages we have booked before. It might be something the owners feel they could address. Also the first stack of logs for the wood burner was frugal 7 pieces and no kindling. It was a shame and disappointing one single bed was an uncomfortable folding camp bed, that you would use as an occasional guest bed, not for the duration of you holiday, for an adult. I would have expected a proper bed clever photography, when you look through the pictures of the rooms. Those few tweaks would enhance future holiday makers stay in you lovey cottage.

Lovely cttage with beautiful stream. Very peaceful. Could do with a few bits of decorating- just touching up and attention to detail when cleaning. But a very peaceful and relaxing stay so thank you!

Kids enjoyed staying at the cottage, on our arrival kids want to go out in the back garden for fresh air and there was a stream as they were told off by neighbours not to walk over the bridge to look at the stream and it's not safe for dogs or small kids to play and the garden is not that big as we thought. I advise all the parents to keep eye on the kids in case the neighbour turns not very nice.

We have been visiting Bryleigh for at least seven years and intend to visit for many years to come. It is comfortable and the people in the village are very friendly. The cottage is very well equipped with many thoughtful touches. The Red Lion is excellent and we are treated as if we were locals.
