Within easy reach of north and south coasts

A delightful terrace of three stone barns (refs 27063, 27064 and 27065), built to a high standard and sitting in about 18 acres of natural grounds surrounded by farmland. This is a peaceful location for exploring the creeks, coves and tranquil waters of the south coast and equally convenient for the rugged north coast - perfect for surfing or walking the coastal path. The area is renowned for its mining history and has been awarded World Heritage Status. Polkanuggo Farm Cottages are within easy reach of Falmouth, with its busy port, harbours, marinas, beautiful beaches, coves, shops and art galleries. Falmouth is also home to the National Maritime Museum and the departure point for coastal safaris to see ship wrecks, dolphins, basking sharks and seals. Take a ferry ride or boat trip to nearby St Mawes, Flushing and the picturesque River Helford. Close by, St Stithian’s Lake offers watersports including canoeing, wind surfing and sailing, plus nature trails. Pendennis Castle, the gardens of Trebah, Trelissick and Glendurgan are within easy reach. It is a short drive to the cathedral city of Truro, while St Ives, with its beautiful beaches and famous Tate Modern art gallery is within easy driving distance. Shop and pub 2 miles.
