We stayed here for a wedding at Skitby which was only a few minutes away in the car. The owner was very very helpful. We only stayed for two nights but could have stayed longer. Beautiful views and lovely accomodation. All en suite.

One of the best properties I have stayed in. A real "home from home" tastefully decorated/furnished and so easy to live in. Very modern and up to date. The location was ideal for our purposes. Farmyard also tidy as was approach to farm. Parking area good and safe.

We had a really enjoyable weekend at Brown Dyke Stables. Perfect as a base to explore the surrounding area. The cottage was warm, comfortable and very well-equipped; the owners were welcoming, offered local knowledge and we were impressed with the attention to detail shown in preparing the accommodation for visitors especially providing flowers, fresh eggs and home-made biscuits. First class! We would definitely stay again.

Generally a warm well appointed and well renovated house. Fridge rather small, drainage in wet rooms not great, and under-unit lighting in the kitchen would be good, but didn't significantly detract from a very enjoyable new year break. Lots to do and see round about, particularly the various Hadrian's Wall sites.
