It really is a lovely, tiny, cosy cottage. We had some problems with the hot water supply, it never seemed to work properly in the bathroom. Another problem for us was that car parking was at the back of the local village hall. I just worried about the walk (arthritic). My husband worried about his precious car being parked in a pretty rough looking car park at the back of a place of public entertainment. The website stated parking at the rear of the property - which I thought meant actually at the back of the cottage. The area is wonderful, we really love it, and it has to be said the car was perfectly safe.

The cottage was small but perfectly formed. Ideally situated for Cairngorm National Park & the river Spey. A welcome pack was a surprise but very much appreciated. The kitchen was fully stocked the best we have come across.good sized ensuite with large shower. In all we loved it & hopefully we'll get in again next year!

This was a very nice cottage. Small, as advertised, but the kitchen in particular was very well equipped. Bed very comfy - this often not the case in holiday cottages, so well done to the owners on this. We had mountain bikes with us and were able to chain them to the log store at the back which was a a big plus for us. The owners were brilliant - could not have done more to make us more comfortable. Plenty of logs for the stove of an evening. If you want to explore this part of Scotland, then this is a good base. Brilliant for couples.
