No garden, grass desperately needs cutting, window would not shut (had to remove ivy), heating needs updating. Very nice welcoming touches (flowers, milk, wine) and well equipped. Car parking is well away from cottage.

Response on behalf of the owner:- Sorry that the Ivy had not been trimmed, we have now done this. Also we have arranged for the grass to be cut each week unless very wet so will follow this up. Thank you.

Only rated 9 for equipment because there was no shaver socket, location because the parking is a short walk away and amenities because they're mostly in other villages. For a birdwatching trip with a car it's great, with easy access to the river. Very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen.

It really is a lovely, tiny, cosy cottage. We had some problems with the hot water supply, it never seemed to work properly in the bathroom. Another problem for us was that car parking was at the back of the local village hall. I just worried about the walk (arthritic). My husband worried about his precious car being parked in a pretty rough looking car park at the back of a place of public entertainment. The website stated parking at the rear of the property - which I thought meant actually at the back of the cottage. The area is wonderful, we really love it, and it has to be said the car was perfectly safe.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to say the hot water issue is now fixed (January 2017).
