It was an absolute pleasure to have stayed at Broomhills cottage. Lovely and modern house, well equipped, great views. Very remote yet close (5min by car) to local amenities. Hot tube was great. Will be definitely going back.

Absolutely loved it here, shame the Beast of the East decided to visit the same week. The house though was so nice we didn't mind spending all our time here, fitting in the odd dog walk to the Melbourne Inn. Only regret is not being able to spend more time in the hot tub, due to the ferocious ice cold winds

We’ve just returned from a very relaxing break at Broomhills. The house is very comfortable, functional and well equipped. We were unaware how much land surrounds the property and our Collie has the best time bombing around-he didn’t have to go on the lead for the whole week! It would have been beneficial to have a visitors book from previous visitors as they are often a great insight into local places of interest and tips for the local area. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were greeted with a lovely warm cottage, hot tub, milk and bottle of wine and modern decoration throughout. The bedrooms had double bed and the kitchen was well stocked. We had fish and chip takeaway locally and cooked in the cottage. The hot tub was great, lots of privacy, easy to use and lovely at night under the stars. Sainsburys and a pharmacy were a short drive away. We unfortunately did not get to go for walks but I would recommend a torch for the long drive. We spent the evening watching DVD's and putting our feet up In front of the fire. A really great spot in Derbyshire, my husband wanted to buy it for himself.
