Good location in attractive small hamlet and ideal for touring Northants. Property adequate but few niggles e.g some heaters not working/uncontrollable, not very clean esp. kitchen sink, toilet seat and bedroom window, only leisure seating one uncomfortable sofa bed, noisy shared facilities, limited continuous hot water & restricted kitchen space. Could be very nice but in need of bit of a revamp.

31st Oct - 14th Nov. We had a lovely quiet and relaxing two week stay in Broombank Barn. Beds really comfortable, heating was sufficient during the mild spell we were there. Apparently this is being upgraded before next season. Shower was nice and powerful and enough hot water for a good bath. The layout of the property was good and its location in the county is excellent for local walks and going further afield. The seating in the lounge wasn't very comfortable and only accommodated two people although the property sleeps four? The kitchen didn't have any cupboard space for food, microwave was dirty and smelly on arrival, and some pots and pans were put away dirty. Could do with some more basic equipment - oven tray, lids that fit the saucepans etc and not 4 whisks and a big coffee maker. We had to make do with the same bedding and towels for the two weeks and had to manage with one tea-towel. A wardrobe in the main bedroom is needed. Apart from the above niggles, this is still a lovely place and we would come back again.

Three of us stayed here very comfortably for a weekend. The owners were welcoming, friendly and happy to help with anything we needed.
