The cottage is half the size it looks from the photograph. If you are not very mobile (or tall) the stairs are difficult to negotiate. If you want to cook the kitchen is tiny, so is the shower cubicle.

The cottage was wrongly advertised and specified. Comfort all throughout is unbelievably beyond normal due to all things are tiny! No wardrobe for clothes. Shower so tiny that you can't bend to reach your knee or toes. Everything in cottage space is tiny. Can't almost go in without moving dining table by the door. Sorry?

To small for us ,unable to sit in garden if you have dog not secure, had to climb a lot of steps to get to exercise dog on a bit of green ,not allowed to take in Park across road . On the whole pretty cottage clean and well equipped, but not suitable for us or dogs .

Vary pleased last minute booking for New Year , very cosy some would find a little small but for holiday use is fine. Central heating warms up very quickly on cold days. Limited space for food storage but can re-arrange some surplus crocks to accommodate. Good location although parking can be difficult when busy. Definitely would return.

The cottage is very nice but there seams to be some damp issues. The stairs could be a problem for anyone with mobility problems. The bed was very uncomfortable. Parking could also be a problem it is first come first served. We enjoy Whitby also the flowers milk and biscuits.
