This accommodation is ideal for us. The 5 of us live in different places and we meet up here every year at xmas because family are also in the area so we can be independent and visit... who wants 5 extra at xmas? With the dog it is great as he likes it in the conservatory. It feels homely and lived in. thank you for having us.

As disabled I found going to the downstairs toilet very cold as the conservatory didn’t have any heating. We were under the impression it was on suite to the downstairs bedroom which it wasn’t. The only solution would be a proper roof on the conservatory and heating. Other than this the beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding and the whole house had a lovely homely feel.

Lovely homely base from which to explore the area; no pictures AT the house; but plenty of the surrounding places we visited. Good parking at the house; and the small courtyard garden was OK for us and the three dogs.

I booked Brookside for a party of three adults and three children to be near to Longleat. We were all delighted with the facilities provided. The property is spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was a cosy and homely environment to return to after the days activities. The owners are both welcoming and approachable. Tea, coffee, milk, wine and a delicious chocolate cake were awaiting us on our arrival. I would have no hesitation in returning to Brookside or recommending it to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
