This is a beautifull cottage with an amazing view on the Skiddaw and a very positive spirit. We loved to stay here, watching the rabbits play in the garden each morning and enjoying the relaxing Lakeland atmosphere. We had a lovely stay at Brookfield Cottage.

This is a gorgeous cottage to stay in, like a home from home, we loved it and would have gladly bought it (if we had a lottery win lol!!). The setting in which it is located is stunning looking out onto Skiddaw. We loved watching the rabbits playing in the garden (great for those who love the 'Peter Rabbit' stories by Beatrix Potter). The house has plenty of space and has everything one would need. At the moment it doesn't have wifi, but you know, you don't really need nor want it, as it's lovely to be dis-connected from the world and enjoy both the house and it's stunning surrounding countryside. Would we go back again?...in a heartbeat yes!! So we would gladly recommend it to those wanting a relaxing place to spend a day, a week or more.

Having been moved from a cottage near Ullswater whose boiler had broken down, we were relieved & delighted to arrive at such a warm, well-equipped house with the most wonderful view! Our holiday was marvellous from then on. Just two criticisms:- problems with the boiler cutting out occasionally & perhaps a new mattress needed for the downstairs double bed?
