A nice homely cottage with a lovely garden not far from the village centre. The only down side was the weather as it rained for 5 out of 7 days. I would go back again.

A fantastic little cottage tucked away in a lane just out of Eardisley but within easy walking distance of a very good pub, a lovely café/restaurant/bookshop and a shop. What I really loved about it was the lovely enclosed garden ( safe for the dog) the conservatory where you could sit and eat breakfast and the little touches that the owners had done. From everything there such as washing up liquid , soap , tea towel , kitchen roll ( so many cottages don't even have the basics ) to books to read , brochures of where to go - it was great. There is no phone signal or wifi but that was the real get away from it all part - we just needed to stop once a day at the café to have a quick cup of tea or cider to check in with home - will definitely be booking this cottage again -

Although we knew dogs were welcome we did not anticipate the overwhelming smell that pervaded the premises.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We strongly regret your comment and viewpoint and are sorry you felt the cottage smelt of dog. We ourselves are not dog owners so are very aware and conscientious to remove all evidence and possible smells left by previous occupancies. Strangely there have been no dogs since end of December and so we feel perplexed as to your viewpoint. We are proud to say we have only ever previously received positive comments as to the cleanliness of our cottage and regret you consider it otherwise.
