We stayed for the week of the National hunt racing festival 2018 and loved having Brook Cottage as our bolthole to return to after the excitement of the race days. Really cosy and v comfortable incl new sofas just delivered. Beautiful garden with babbling stream flowing thru which would be beautiful to enjoy in warmer weather than March! Highly recommended

The cottage is beautiful from the outside and at a great location with a splendid view from the terrace at the back. But inside, on the ground floor, it's all a bit run down with a very uncomfortable sofa and couch, these really need to be replaced. We expected more, at a cottage in this price range. On the other hand, the bedrooms were fine, clean, with comfortable beds. Another thing on the positive side was that though it was a cold week the heating was working so well that we did not even feel the need to light the open fire.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback which we value. In the lounge, we have ordered a new very comfortable sofa and matching couch which will be delivered within the next few weeks.

A very cosy cottage with a nice little garden facing fields. Very traditional (typical of the cotswolds) but with full modern equipment. We spent a wonderful week there and enjoyed very much the surrounding countryside (cows, rabbits and the farmer's dogs each morning). The ideal place to relax. The only thing that could be improved would be the curtains (especially in the children's room). They could be thicker (but maybe we think so because we are French and are used to shutters).

No WiFi offered, poor TV reception, no barbecue, but cosy with a spacious living room and easy to reach. Good spot to explore all around the Cotswolds.
