Such a brilliant find and a delight to spend a few days in my ancestral heartland. Very comfortably furnished and well equipped. Lots of wonderful places to visit nearby, Lancashire is such an undiscovered county and deserves the credit given to the lake district.

A really lovely cottage close to local amenities and a perfect base to explore the surrounding beautiful countryside. Lovely friendly owners who were happy to provide help and information. Great comfy beds and cosy once the heating was on (we were there in feb).

Grateful location for getting out n about, Colne close for bigger shops. Don't be put off by the pub it's really friendly and a decent Chinese. The cottage itself is really lovely, cosy with exposed stonework. Nice rooms and the tv/wifi worked a treat. Would definitely stay again if coming to the area.

Beautiful Cottage in a lovely location. Comfortable and functional. Lovely to see such a well equipped kitchen. Welcome pack on arrival helpful. Be warned stairs to top bedroom are very steep, not a problem for us though! Thank you, we will be back next year!

Girls weekend away. Cottage is lovely. Owners really helpful. Cotten Tree Inn over the road is great for a game of pool, putting some tunes on the jukebox and chatting to the locals. Lovely country park/nature reserve over the road and shopping at Boundary Mill. Really clean and cosy cottage. Very steep stairs to 3rd bedroom as advertised but no problem for us even after a glass or two of wine!
