One of the worst places we have stayed Mouse droppings in pullout bed ,light fittings hanging from ceiling and flashing on and off in dining room, broken floor tiles in kitchen taped together were you go upstairs, double oven in kitchen could only use one side glass door broken on the other, gas burners on top of oven not working properly, shower has no power water just trickles out whole place was very shabby

Myself and my partner both loved this house, and the park that it was on. The only, and very minor issue was that we felt that the equipment in the kitchen could be doing with being replaced/modernised (such as the pans etc). This did not affect our stay at all though and we enjoyed every minute.

Group of 5 Nottingham Trent Uni friends who live all around the country - was a great place to meet that was relatively central. Great to have a proper house for 3 days/nights, hot tub was fantastic and comfortable for the 5 of us but would be a bit of a squeeze for 6+. Went on some lovely local walks and a great bike ride over at Hicks Lodge. Lovely meal at Cricketts Inn, great value for money. Overall a really lovely long weekend and one that we will always remember!!

Great weekend away spent here. Comfortably sleeps 6 but no more. Lovely and spacious and you're not under each other's feet. Hot tub was warm when we got there so we could jump in and enjoy as soon as we got there. Only issue was that there was a lot of rats running about, this was to be expected next to the fields but not ideal when they popped they're head inside

Really good value for money. I will say that there wasn't enough cuttlery available. The hot tub fits 3 small kids at the one time. There was 7 of us and 4 adults can definitely not fit in together. Beds very uncomfortable also. We didn't realise the cottage was part of a holiday complex with many other lodges. This didn't matter to us but to others it might.

We had a lovely weekend at Bridge House. The garden is lovely and the hot tub was warm on arrival. There's plenty of room in the house and it never felt too small for our group of 7. Staff were really accommodating and flexible. There are a few improvements that could be made however; Communication was quite difficult before arrival and during the weekend. Although it is advertised as sleeping 8 the facilities do not really support that. The dining table seats 6, the sofa bed was in the conservatory which has no curtains, there isn't enough crockery/glassware. Also the bunk bed room is definitely for children only!

We had a lovely time at Bridge House, there were 6 of us and we only stayed for the weekend. I wouldn't want a larger group than that staying there, though there was plenty of space for 8 people it would have been difficult cooking for this many as the supplies were limited and I also wouldn't want to stay longer than a weekend. The area seemed nice though we didn't explore much, we were there to play board games, but the house isn't as secluded as the description makes out, reception is in your backyard and there's some kind of handyman/gardeners lodge right next door. The hot tub was a welcome addition though only 4 can comfortably use it. The house itself was well maintained and clean apart from the ant issue in the kitchen, I hate ants, the fact that there were so many made me not want to use the kitchen at all, there were ant traps dotted around but it didn't seem to be helping. We were also slightly confused when we got there as the place appeared to be a lodge park squeezed into a normal housing area with no one at reception to greet us or show us where to go.
