Really good value for money. I will say that there wasn't enough cuttlery available. The hot tub fits 3 small kids at the one time. There was 7 of us and 4 adults can definitely not fit in together. Beds very uncomfortable also. We didn't realise the cottage was part of a holiday complex with many other lodges. This didn't matter to us but to others it might.

Absolutely fantastic place. We stayed here for a hen party . The place was lovely the pictures on the Internet do not give it justice. Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely weekend at Bridge House. The garden is lovely and the hot tub was warm on arrival. There's plenty of room in the house and it never felt too small for our group of 7. Staff were really accommodating and flexible. There are a few improvements that could be made however; Communication was quite difficult before arrival and during the weekend. Although it is advertised as sleeping 8 the facilities do not really support that. The dining table seats 6, the sofa bed was in the conservatory which has no curtains, there isn't enough crockery/glassware. Also the bunk bed room is definitely for children only!

We had a lovely time at Bridge House, there were 6 of us and we only stayed for the weekend. I wouldn't want a larger group than that staying there, though there was plenty of space for 8 people it would have been difficult cooking for this many as the supplies were limited and I also wouldn't want to stay longer than a weekend. The area seemed nice though we didn't explore much, we were there to play board games, but the house isn't as secluded as the description makes out, reception is in your backyard and there's some kind of handyman/gardeners lodge right next door. The hot tub was a welcome addition though only 4 can comfortably use it. The house itself was well maintained and clean apart from the ant issue in the kitchen, I hate ants, the fact that there were so many made me not want to use the kitchen at all, there were ant traps dotted around but it didn't seem to be helping. We were also slightly confused when we got there as the place appeared to be a lodge park squeezed into a normal housing area with no one at reception to greet us or show us where to go.

As others have mentioned, the house is part of a holiday park. I didn't realise how little privacy there would be however. The garden was shared with the cabin next door and was only separated by a temporary plastic barrier. There were cabins all around and the trees and hedges were very sparse and gave no privacy. There were loose cigarette ends and cups full of them in the garden too. The hot tub was cold when we arrived and took ages to heat up. We didn't have bedding for the pull out despite informing them that we were a party of 8 so we had to get some from reception. The house would be fine for, say, 2 couples and 2 children but not 8 adults as advertised. The bunk bed room was clearly a child's room and the bunks were uncomfortable. The dining table was only for 6 people. The hot tub couldn't even fit 3 people in comfortably. On arrival the book states that they provide you with basics such as milk, washing up liquid etc and this wasn't the case. The kitchen was equipped with what seemed to be random things that people had left. They had 2 tin openers that did not work at all. The house otherwise was lovely, and the surrounding areas were great. The bathroom and four poster room were really nice. I think if the property had some more attention paid to it, the holiday park staff were more hospitable (we felt a little like an inconvenience to them rather than warmly welcomed) and they sorted out the privacy issues, it would be great.

We went to bridge house for the second time. A party of 30-40 Mum's needing a relaxing weekend. The hot tub was lovely though it's quite small. You can't stretch your legs out of there's 4+ and they could do with some lights being put up around it. We had a nice enough 4 mile walk into Ashby and it's minutes away from Conkers so good if you've got kids. It's the best value house with a hot tub we have found and we are likely to visit again. Showers need improving though!

Great property, on a larger park, for the money it's great! Doesn't come with much in the way of cleaning equipment etc.

The accommodation was absolutely perfect but the location was just a little bit remote for us.

Visited here with friends from work for an overnight treat, wish we could have stayed longer. Everything you needed was in the cottage a great home from home. Hot tub was great fun, lovely and warm for a cold November night! We didn't arrive until late afternoon and it would have been nice if the heating was on for us, but it soon warmed up.
