Amazing cottage and hosts. The cottage had everything you need , lovely log burner, clean, fully equipped and cozy. Although no wi- fi if you need that. Its location is perfect for sightseeing and local amenities. Stepping out of the front door you are greeted with an amazing view of hills and the sea . The farming family are lovely people who are helpful and friendly. I can't recommend this cottage highly enough.

We had a well needed break here. A lovely cottage and very welcoming friendly host. Very comfortable bed and overall the cottage was very comfortable. Lovely log burner and plentiful supply of logs. Very beautiful area to visit, lovely beaches, and castle at Dunster worth a visit. Minehead is beautiful. The steam railway is well worth visiting at Minehead.

The cottage is in a lovely area with many walks from the door. The owner is friendly and helpful. It is warm and cosy in the evening with the woodburner alight. Lovely view from the garden and the whole area has lots of beautiful countryside to explore. Nice to have a heater in the bathroom as we have had cold bathrooms in previous places. Also the rooms are nice and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay and would return there.

We enjoyed our stay on this working farm and found the farmer and his wife very friendly especially taking time out at a very busy harvest to show us around the farm. Having the chicken in the garden was a treat to find fresh laid eggs and therefore resisted eating it! We would recommend this cottage for its excellent location but would advise that it is a working farm and you should expect some machinery noise as tractors etc. move around during the day. Small children would need to be closely supervised but it provides an excellent education as to where our food comes from.

Stayed August 2015 with two young boys. Had a fabulous time. Owners incredibly welcoming. View of the sea from cottage. Working farm provided lots of opportunity for the children to see the cows, sheep and piglets. Beautiful walk to Dunster right on the doorstep, road free from cottage. Cottage well equipped and very comfortable. Really couldn't have asked for more.

We had a very enjoyable holiday based in this comfortable cottage. It was nice to be able to put on the very efficient electric fires which were provided in every room, as, even in August, it can be cold a bit on the edge of Exmoor. It was nice to be so near the coast, and to have a private, fenced garden. Seeing a mixed farm in operation was very interesting and the owners friendly. Lots to do in the area. It was nice to be able to walk from the door over the fields and through the deer park to see Dunster.

The cottage is delightful and in a great location with many paths leading off directly from the farm. We particularly enjoyed the great walking opportunities leading into the hills behind the cottage. The location also presented similar opportunities with short drives to the coast or to the hills west of Minehead. The cottage is charming, full of old world features the most striking of which is the vast fireplace. We stayed during the first week of August and balancing the cost for the week, in school holidays, relative the cottage location and facilities it is excellent value for money.

this was the ideal holiday cottage for us. I cant fault it in any way. the views were lovely and the cottage was clean and cosy, with plenty of space. the chicken in the garden was an added bonus for my 4 year old grandson. the garden was entirely safe for him to play in. We all felt at home there. We have rented holiday cottages for many years, and this was by far the best.
