Aptly named, this cottage nestles in the grounds of Cropton Brewery - why not join a tour and sample some of the fine ales?

Brewers Cottage nestles in the grounds of Cropton Brewery in the sleepy hamlet of Cropton within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Dating back almost 200 years this terraced holiday cottage offers modern, contemporary accommodation, yet retains many of the original features. The brewery was developed in 1984 and offers tours to sample some of the fine ales on offer. Ideally located for walking, cycling and exploring the heather clad moors. If coastal walks and stunning beaches are in order, you’ll find the Heritage Coast just 18 miles away, including Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

A lovely weekend spent in this cottage - which is less than a stone’s throw from the nearby and excellent pub. Close to Pickering for shops, but refreshingly in-the-middle-of-nowhere to fully recharge our batteries! Would recommend.

Lovely cottage & great having the pub next door. Pub very accommodating by cooking us a vegan meal other than what was on offer. A negative is no implements for cleaning out the log burner & the wood was not dried out & didn't burn very well. Good job we took our own fire lighters, kindling & wood. Shower was great but not enough hot water for a bath. Perfect retreat for two & nice walks nearby.

This is our 3rd stay at the cottage. It's is well placed to visit many of the areas attractions. The only problem is the ancient non too clean cooker.

have stayed here 4 years on the trot, its great for the location, however it does need some care and attention now, cooker needs a steam clean, and kitchen utensils need replacing. there was always three sofas in the lounge, however someone has replaced one of them with two old nursing home chairs, we couldnt believe the appearence has changed from a modern look to a miss match.

Had a lovely weekend staying at brewers cottage cropton. We were meeting up with friends staying on the caravan sites next door so it was ideal. Had dinner in the pub on the Saturday evening and as usual the food at the new inn was excellent, as were the staff very helpful and obliging. The cotta page was very homely beds comfy and kitchen well equipped. Would definitely stay there again.
