Brasscam is situated at Mountain View on the approach to the hamlet of Seatoller in the beautiful Borrowdale Valley, close to the foot of the Honister Pass. The cottage has access to the high fells, notably Glaramara, Great Gable and Scafell Pike, right from the door, making it a paradise for walkers. A fabulous cottage at the heart of the Lakes  It is ideally situated for exploring the Northern Lakes with Keswick only seven miles away and Derwentwater and Buttermere approximately three miles. Brasscam enjoys fell views from all the windows and is close to the villages of Stonethwaite and Rosthwaite.
There is free Wi-Fi BT Broadband internet access throughout the property.

Ground Floor:
The oil fired centrally heated and double glazed property comprises:
Living room: Open plan with the original range surrounded by a Lakeland stone fireplace, slate floor, TV with Sky Sports package, DVD and CD/radio.
Kitchen/diner: With pine table, NEFF electric oven and hob, two fridges, dishwasher and microwave.
Conservatory/porch: With boot locker.
Utility room:
With washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Twin bedroom with fell views.

There are steep open sided stairs to the 2nd floor. Extra care needs to be taken.

    A very quaint character cottage in an excellent locAtion for walkers. Good facilities in terms of utility and family games. Master suite and bath very pleasant and plenty of hot water. Downside was musty smell in bedrooms on first floor and kitchen cupboards. Needs attention before we return.
