This cottage is situated in the most beautiful location, 2 minutes walk from the lochside. Peace and quiet reign. The cottage is warm and cosy and we all had a lovely stay. You can get wifi and the TV has basic channels so we were quite happy. Lots of great facilities and an amazing view from the lounge window. The owners were helpful when we had an issue and resolved it quickly. The village shop next door is a great addition to the village, makes a great breakfast! We didn't find a good pub to walk to and the meals in the hotels were expensive and we got ousted twice to make way for wedding guests! Towels are provided which is a great feature, however no bath mats. The only downside was the downstairs bathroom which is really really small and the shower has very little water pressure and if you are tall you won't fit in as there is a sloped ceiling. We used the shower over the bath upstairs which was much better - a shower screen would be a great addition.

Great place to stay, we had everything we could possibly need, the kitchen opening out onto the terrace was lovely. The situation so close to the lake is wonderful and having worried there may be lots of midges we hardly saw any and sat out all evening. Plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep, café/shop that does great coffee next door and plenty more places to eat and drink a short drive away. The brewery down the road seems to have closed, which was a shame as my husband had been looking forward to that and I'm not sure the water sports place is still running but we hired a boat and had a lovely picnic out on the lake. The owners have been more than helpful for us and we are very grateful as we left things behind!! We had a great time and 1 week is definitely not enough!!

Stayed over Christmas and what a nice touch by the owners... the cottage was all decked out with a huge tree and decorations galore. Was a really nice gesture and made our stay festive and hugely enjoyable. It rained and rained but this didn't dampen our pleasure in staying in such a wonderful cottage in a fantastic area. Had a lovely meal in the local restaurant and Crieff was also a great place to visit for lunch/dinner. Wifi worked great and the cottage was lovely and warm.
