our first time here in this part of Scotland and absolutely loved the location a few minutes walk from the lovely loch which we visited everyday and our boys enjoyed throwing stones into it. We loved that it was near our friends in Crief and that we could get to other beautiful spots in just a half an hour drive. The only frustration was no WiFi which was difficult when we had an emergency situation back in London. We could only use phone down by the loch or if we drove for 10 minutes. We would definitely come back to this spot but maybe not Braehead as the downstairs bedrooms were quite cold.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we have had many problems in the village with BT however I am delighted to say all phone services have now been repaired and the broadband is fully operational in the house. We offer free unlimited Wi-Fi to all our guests. Due to the idyllic location, mobile signal is not great through no fault of our own and so we have now installed a smart television so people can always use the internet e.g. skype to keep in touch. I am sorry you didn't contact us during your stay to inform us you were feeling cold; as per the sign in the bathroom we advise to call if any discomfort is found with the heating. All of the radiators are thermostatically controlled and during the summer when you were staying the boiler is set for the heating to come on at various times we hope will be appropriate. At any time you are welcome to turn the boiler to constant or turn the radiators up. We have had no other complaint of guests being cold.
