Nice little cottage, but no garden, would have been handy to have a garden as we had a dog, but that was our mistake for not checking. Was handy location for getting to places.

Lovely cottage in Kettlewell. Very well appointed with a good range of kitchen utensils.

Bradd Cottage offered everything we needed as a base for a week in the Dales. Although Kettlewell is a small village it has three pubs, a tea room and an excellent village shop, right next door.

This property was quite disappointing overall - some things could be fixed easily, others would be more difficult. The house itself: the second bedroom has very limited headroom, so much that a normal adult can stand in about one quarter of the room. Some areas only accessible on your knees. Also in this room, the Velux windows drip condensation onto the people in the bed underneath - great if you want really strange dreams, not good if you like undisturbed sleep. The smoke alarms all go off together, every time anything is being cooked - this by itself would make me never return to the property. There is no outside space at the property. Inside the house: the pots and pans looked like rejects from the local YHA; the "welcome pack" for the fire was enough wood to last about 30 minutes - not so useful if you arrive late in the evening.
