We had a great holiday in Normandy and Bonsentier was an ideal base to explore from. It is an attractive, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a rural setting, but within easy reach of a local shops in Barenton. The cottage has been refurbished, but without losing its rustic character. The woodburner was useful and was nice to relax by after dinner; also the CD player and broad selection of CD's was an unexpected benefit. We would highly recommend this cottage and we hope to return again at sometime in the future.

Brilliant. The gite exceeded our expectations and Barenton was surprisingly good for food shopping. We were most fortunate with the weather. Although the butchers block is lovely, I would have appreciated separate boards for cutting bread and preparing fruit ,vegetables and meat, Since you ask!

This was an excellent gite and far exceeded our expectations. We would definately stay again. The only slight negative was that it did not have a shower. Apparently there is one outside but this had not been cleaned or made ready for use probably due to the time of year, for us so we could not use it.
