Absolutely beautiful cottage in ideal surroundings. Only a few minor issues that let it down. The cottage needs a deep clean. Although the beds and bathrooms were cleaned on arrival, the fixtures and fittings throughout really let it down. The cream carpets and suites (not ideal in a holiday rental) had stains on and needed a proper clean as did some of the carpets in the bedrooms. Other surfaces were covered in dust and cobwebs and not what you would expect from a 5* property. Even allowing for the fact that this is a country cottage surrounded by a working farm, I would still expect the general level of hygiene to be better throughout. Also needs a full length mirror in every bedroom, only one currently in the entire property. A suggestion for the future would also be a larger TV. Although we did not spend all day every day glued to it, it is incredibly small for the size of the room. To me these are small points but would greatly improve the experience. All in all a wonderful place and would definitely stay again if these issues were addressed.

Lovely house and comfortable stay, let down by the weather but that can't be helped in England! The outside seating area could do with some improvements and tidying, but overall a great house.

Large and very nice property let down slightly by the following: - very poor wifi facilities - wardrobe space very limited and insufficient hangers - annex was too cold to use - some showers very weak
