At its northern edge is Sand Point, a National Trust headland offering wonderful views and wild craggy rocks. At the southern edge are Weston Woods, three miles of woodland along the coastline into Weston-Super-Mare offering you splendid walks. Only a few minutes to the M5, the barns are an ideal base for touring this beautiful area. Nearby are the Mendips and the Quantocks, perfect for walking and cycling, and within an hour’s drive of the Roman spa city of Bath, Wells the smallest city in England, with a wonderful cathedral, Cheddar with its dramatic gorge and caves, more wonderful caves at Wookey Hole, Glastonbury with its mystical Arthurian connections and Bristol, full of maritime history, culture and shopping opportunities. Puxton Park offers a fun day out for all the family, with leisure activities and a farm shop. A one day free family pass is offered on stays of 3 nights or more. Back home from Canada to visit parents at Christmas and no room in the house. Cottage was 10 minutes drive away, on a working farm. Incredibly peaceful and relaxing environment. Cottage was clean, tidy and cosy. Everything was exactly as advertised. Will stay there everytime we visit from now on.

The cottage is situated off a poorly maintained road, lots of potholes, and the view is far from attractive, ships containers and concrete rubble but the cottage itself is fine, lots of cupboard and draw space, and it was clean and tidy. Strange though that there isn't a path to the door, you either walk on the grass, very muddy at the wrong tome of year, or trudge through the gravel in front of another cottage. Nice touches were the dog drinking bowl and kids potty provided, and some toys. Overall it suited our needs which was to provide a base for visiting relatives and being able to take our dog and we would look to stay here again in one of the other cottages which had a path to the door.

Had an enjoyable stay at blueberry cottage,as it was dog friendly we would have liked an enclosed area for dog so we could open the door and let him go outside with no worries.
