Have stayed many times at this cottage always enjoy it. Good location for walking, day trips, shops etc. Picture doesn't do it justice as its out of date the gardens have grown up and it all looks much more mature than the photo suggests. Gardens open all around but the cottage is down a short track away from the road. Lovely views over to the sea and Scarborough, good walks along cliff top

The views from the cottage are fantastic ever changing with the weather. We where lucky that the cottage had just been part re painted and re furbished, the sofa and chairs where quality, looked great, but the chairs where not so comfy. The bathrooms where to die for. Minor problems I am sorry to say where, TV sound fault at times, DVD froze a few times, oven switched off and took ages to get working as no instructions, outside light near bins not working properly and coat hooks in the hall or utility room would have been helpful. Overall the cottage was well worth its 4*. Basket off goodies was a surprise and oh so nice.

Lovely cottage, fantastic views, location a little too remote for us.

We love this cottage and next year will be our fourth holiday here. Normally we give ten out of ten and the only reason we had to mark it down this year was because the remote controls which operate the window blinds were broken in every room apart from the en-suite bedroom. This made it impossible to close the blind in the twin bedroom allowing the light in which would cause anyone sleeping in this room wake up earlier than they would like. Also although the cottage was clean we felt the property would benefit from a good spring clean but as this property is so popular we appreciate it would be difficult to find the time to do this. It has not put us off booking again and always enjoy our holidays here.

Its a lovely place, close enough to the shops, pubs and restaurants but rural and peaceful. Cosy and warm, bright and airy and well equipped. Lots of good walks close by both inland and coastal, our third visit and definitely not our last.
