Ideal house and location for our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children). Plenty to do in the area including visits to the Isle of White and the New Forest. Kids liked the house and enjoyed playing in the big back garden. Some nice pubs and restaurants in the heart of the village near the waterfront. We would certainly stay here again.

The cottage met with our requirements to be able to entertain family during our son's Wedding weekend. Initially when we had a concern about regulating the heating we contacted the owner who came promptly and dealt with it.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for leaving a review we appreciate your comments. Location is always a difficult one; we are still quite rural with the open fields and walks to the village via the public footpath and the marina close by where there is a little supermarket where you can pick up supplies. The village itself is a little further; I’d say a 15 minute walk. Once you are in the car the world is your oyster with huge shopping outlets at Southampton West Quay, Whiteley (which has a newly opened 9 screen cinema and a rock climbing wall for the more athletic) and of course Gun Wharf in Portsmouth and the Dockyard all within a 20-30 minute drive depending on the traffic. Thank you for staying with us and leaving your review.
