After following the clear instructions, it was easy to find the cottage. We parked our car safely outside the cottage and were warmly welcomed by the owners. The first thing that took us back was just how big the cottage is compared to the pictures, it really is spacious. The cottage is well designed with top spec features and furnishings which made the evenings a pleasure after a long day of walking. The cottage is perfectly situated to explore the Dales and surrounding areas. Skipton itself was charming to stay at with supermarkets very close by along with more quirky and unique shops. We particularly enjoyed the Clay and Coffee shop in the town center. We miss the quite of the country side and being woken by birds, coming back to the noise of the city has been really hard, it has been a special memory for us and we can't wait to return .

Blue buttons is a stunning cottage to stay in. It is beautiful inside and out. It is very spacious and has a fabulous kitchen/ dining room with everything possible you require to cook. I loved the fridge freezer with the water and ice machine. All the rooms are very large it is so relaxing. The bed is so comfortable it's king size of course. The bathroom is stunning with a fabulous walk in shower and an amazing hot tub/ bath. The owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and places to visit. They do not intrude on your stay .but are there to help if needed ,as they live next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and have already booked to return next year.
