Beautifully located, this cottage has everything for a relaxing, getting away from it all holiday. Lots of walking in the area. Come prepared food-wise as there is not much in the way of shopping opportunities in the vicinity. Also very limited eating out in the off season. The cottage itself is very well equipped, warm, very clean and welcoming. There is no wi fi. Would certainly make a return visit.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for the positive feedback. I am pleased to announce that as of the 14th March there will be unlimited broadband installed in the cottage. Also, for information purposes, there is a well provisioned general store located just 2 miles away in Dunvegan as well as a Fruit and Nut / Organic shop, Bakery, Garage and several good cafes. The only thing lacking shopping wise in the village is fresh meat for which the Co-op in Portree is closest. However, your best bet is to do a shop at the Co-op in Broadford on your drive up, which is en route to the cottage.

Beautiful cottage. Had everything we needed. Kitchen was extremely well equiped. The cottage was extremely comfortable with fantastic views of the Cuillins. Skye has some beautiful scenery and we found many walks to go on. Cottage was very clean.

A very pleasant, comfortable and practical cottage, with wonderful views across to the Cuillins. Enjoyed watching otters playing and feeding on the sea loch below the cottage. Good location, with some lovely short walks from the cottage, yet close to the main A863, with Dunvegan just a short drive away. Just a couple of small drawbacks: the back garden in not completely enclosed (so keep an eye on your dog) and there's no Wi-fi or 3G/4G network available (had to resort to the television for weather forecasts!)

Excellent cottage with lovely views the only drawback for us was that we expected to be able to walk our Yorkie down to the sea and at the end of the lane there was a no dogs sign beyond the cattle grid. Clearly you can walk dogs on the lanes and further afield.
