Nearby are the Mendips and the Quantocks, perfect for walking and cycling, and within an hour’s drive of the Roman spa city of Bath, Wells the smallest city in England, with a wonderful cathedral, Cheddar with its dramatic gorge and caves, more wonderful caves at Wookey Hole, Glastonbury with its mystical Arthurian connections and Bristol, full of maritime history, culture and shopping opportunities. Puxton Park offers a fun day out for all the family, with leisure activities and a farm shop. A one day free family pass is offered on stays of 3 nights or more. Shops 0.5 miles, pub serving food 2 miles.
