We had a simply wonderful short break. The accommodation was excellent being on a single level and very well furnished. Also having two separate outside spaces was very useful especially the enclosed garden and patio which was great for our dog. The rural location was very relaxing. It provided a peaceful haven in which to recharge our batteries. I t was also a really good base from which to explore the Cotswolds, Stratford-on-Avon and the local area.

Lovely little hide away, perfect base, great recommendations from the owner on best places to eat in the local area. A great find. Probably would not visit again as we like to try different properties and locations. But would recommend to others if visiting the area.

First impressions are important and we arrived on a cold wet December afternoon to find no heating on and even after following the owner's instructions couldn't get it to work; nor could we light the wood burner as the logs were damp! The owner did see us the next day and supplied fresh logs which were fine and we finally worked out that the room thermostats had been turned off. On the plus side we found the bed very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The location is very quiet and we had a relaxing stay which was what we needed.
