Our party of 16 contained family members with ages ranging from 2 to 90 years. Birdforth Hall suited each and everyone of us as it was spacious, had plenty of bathrooms/shower rooms, a safe garden to play and relax in and a fabulous indoor swimming pool and small gym.

We have a fabulous weekend at Birdforth Hall, the house is lovely great dining room for a large dinner party and great garden. Kitchen well equipped and nice clean bedrooms. Living room could do with updating a little bit still a great space. We went to the nearby Carlton lodge activity centre in thirsk and had a brilliant day. Would definitely use the house again.

A great location for a large family gathering. There was 16 of us for a week from aged 5 to 75 and we all had a fantastic holiday and especially enjoyed the laughs at the large dinner table. Lots of space with comfy seats in the lounge for all. Would highly recommend as very good standard of accommodation especially in all bedrooms with good power showers. Despite being a large house it was always warm and cosy. Can't rate it highly enough.

When we first turned up the house has the wow factored the size of each room was perfect meaning all 18 of us could be in the same room without being on top of each other. The thing that could be a bit better to cook for 18 the range doesn't really cool quick enough so everything had to be done in the one oven so maybe another oven would help.

We used the Hall for a family pre christmas get together and it was perfect. With 17 family members we made use good use of all of the indoor space. The dining room made the perfect setting for a lovely family christmas dinner. We needed to use both kitchens for each meal as there was so many of us to cook for. The Hall was well stocked with cutlery etc. The swimming pool was a bonus for the younger members of the party, who used it every day. The log burner kept the sitting room cosy all day.

Fantastic house and pool with beautiful clean and comfortable beds. Just needs a brush and dustpan supplying and not a good idea to have cream coloured carpets in the hallways. We had a fantastic time.
