Enjoyed our stay at Birchglow, but would have liked a garden to relax in.

We had an amazing weekend at the cottage. The location is perfect, very close to all the amenities but tucked away and very quiet. The cottage itself is very spacious and a great layout. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and we will be back.

This place is perfect for a family break. The house is modern yet cosy, warm and beautifully furnished. There is plenty of space with a great layout. The location in helmsley is also perfect. We'll definitely be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic stay in a beautiful cottage so well kept and with so many wonderful little touches that made our stay so special. I would come back for the chocolate cake alone.

Stayed for a week commencing 28th October, house was lovely decorated to a very high standard with everything you need to hand. The welcome groceries where great together with a delicious fresh baked cake. Would love to return when we get chance.

I should probably give a negative review to make sure there's more chance of it being available when we want to book again. But that would be really unfair -- it's a great cottage in a great location!

Excellent reception from owner (in person and in welcome pack). All very good so it seems picky to mention the lack of coat pegs near the (back) door or elsewhere but their absence was a bit inconvenient (and untidy).

What a great place to stay, the property is superb with every amenity you need for your stay. It is located in the centre of Helmsley so just a short walk to all the amenities. The welcome pack including the home made cake is a really nice welcoming touch. Will definitely stay there again.

Had a lovely holiday in Birch Glow Cottage. Its much bigger than I expected. Great to have the 3 floors. Particularly appreciated the care and attention on our arrival - home made cake, fridge stocked for breakfast, bottle of wine and a loaf of bread. Helmsley - has lots of lovely tea shops which officially close at 4pm. Fabulous bakery called Cinnamon Twist which makes delicious cakes and wonderful sourdough bread.
