We choose this cottage on location with views across to sea and hills. Outside this provided both but difficult to see internally. The cottage provided extreemly clean roomy accommodation. We loved the position in the middle of working farms with only the lambs to disturb the peaceful tranquility. Definitely a car needed to reach local amenities. The hosts could not have been more helpful or friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic week at Beudy Hen; the cottage was warm, clean and in an ideal location. The owners were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The only possible improvement we can think of is that a bigger freezer and a tumble dryer might be useful, but we managed ok anyway. Wouldn't hesitate to return - it was a really lovely cottage - thank you for having us!!!

Absolutely perfect for our needs. We were made to feel extremely welcome. With the downstairs bedroom and bathroom my parents were able to feel they had a private space to retire to. The main living/kitchen/dining accommodation was large enough to feel spacious but small enough to feel cosy and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped. The upstairs bedrooms cosy and comfortable. We all felt very much at home. It was very peaceful, easy to find and the views lovely. We had many great days out, the location ideal for our needs.

I would certainly stay at Beudy Hen again. Mrs Evans is a lovely lady and greeted us with cake and made us a cup of tea when we arrived. A bulb went in the downstairs bathroom mid-week and although we said we could manage all right with the over the sink one until we left Mr Evans was along that evening after he finished work to make everything right. He too is a very nice person. The only reason I didn't mark it as ten for comfort was the bed was a little hard and it would have been nice to have had a washer/dryer. The weather was great for us but the towels wouldn't have dried very well if we hadn't been able to use the outside line.

Have stayed there before and enjoyed it. However this time a strong smell of dogs throughout the house including bedrooms. This would probably stop us from booking again.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We’re really sorry that you had this problem – we have investigated and the source of the smell has been identified and removed (it wasn’t a dog). We hope to welcome you back again in the future.

A perfect location on a working farm, off the beaten track lovely and quiet. On arrival waiting for us was a beautiful home made cake and a bottle of wine, much appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed. Everything we needed to make our stay perfect was in the cottage which was of the highest standard.
