Friendly and helpful owners. Good kitchen and equipment. Bed is a bit uncomfortable and we did wish for more supportive pillows. It is a well appointed cottage but you do have to drive to get to anywhere. However, being very close to the A1 was an advantage.

Excellent country location. The cottage although small with sloping roofs upstairs was very comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very helpful and friendly without being intrusive and was very receptive to any comments on improvements to the equipment provided

Lovely location and although small a wonderful cottage. The only downside for us was the bed is extremely uncomfortable. Potentially because it needs a new mattress, but also because of the random repair done to the frame underneath.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback - I am very sorry and rather surprised that you found the bed uncomfortable as the mattress is only three years old. However we had no idea that the bed was broken and no repairs were attempted by ourselves. I am very grateful indeed for this feedback and you have our assurance that we shall purchase a new bed.
