These attractive and comfortable 2-storey detached (refs 29292, 30300, W43925, W43926, W43927) and single-storey semi-detached (refs 29290, 29291, 29293, 29294) holiday cottages are set within a family-friendly development of holiday properties near the seafront at Seaview, a popular fishing village on the island’s north east coast. The village features quaint streets and buildings, and offers guests a relaxing seaside atmosphere with quality shops and eateries approximately ¾ mile away. The cottages offer a great base for exploring the many attractions the island has to offer. Although some of the cottages are single-storey, these are only suitable for guests with some level of mobility as the bathrooms are not adapted and there are some steps to the entrance of the properties or within them. There are many walks and cycle routes nearby, and the area is perfect for bird watching. Seaview has a number of beaches and coves, with views across the Solent. Ryde has a popular seafront with extensive sandy beaches and a golf course only a couple of miles away. Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, and The Needles, with chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and the coloured sands of Alum Bay, are just a short drive. Further attractions include Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Pearl Centre, Dinosaur Museum, Donkey Sactuary and Calbourne Water Mill which has a 17th-century working water mill. Osborne House and Gardens, Carisbrook Castle and the sailing town of Yarmouth are worthy of a visit. Cowes in the north west of the island is renowned for its sailing. Also within easy reach are vineyards and quaint villages, some with thatched roofs, including Godshill, Old Shanklin and Brighstone. Horse riding can be enjoyed in St Helens. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

Lovely cottage in the village of Seaview. Found the staff very friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was clean and tidy with a few homely additions. If the weather had been better we would have happily sat outside and enjoyed the views. Overall very happy and would recommend.

A lovely cottage, very comfortable and very well equipped. Quite a walk to the beach and the car parking area. We didn't have a problem with the no cars rule but quite a lot of people close to us ignored it and brought their cars round to the properties anyway. In particular, the cottage across found no problem with leaving their small child in the drivers seat hooting the horn for several hours at a time. Obviously, we realise that this is down to the parents having no respect for others but it was still quite annoying nonetheless!

A lovely area to stay as lots of nice places to visit and great places to eat, but I booked for a disabled person I was told there was a wet room yes there was a wet room but a big step up into the bathroom which is no good for wheelchair user or on crutches also there was decking all around the bungalow with steps which made it very difficult to get up and as it was a nature reserve site you weren't allowed to park your car next to your holiday which made extremely hard as I'm unable to walk far, when I booked this holiday everything I asked for, for a disabled person they said this bungalow was right for me but once I got down there it was a totally different story, a real shame as a lovely place to stay :(

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, our cottages do not have full width doors, there are steps up to the cottages and there is also a step up into the wet room. The design of the wet rooms in the 2 and 3 bed cottages means they are not ideally suited to anyone that has mobility issues. The bathrooms are not adapted and the property is only suitable for guests with some level of mobility, the property is not suitable for a full time wheelchair user and for this reason we do not advertise it to be so. It is a shame that you did not contact us prior to booking as we would have been more than happy to confirm this.

A lovely relaxing holiday in a prime position. Would definitely stay again, only down side was the positioning of the too small tv, uncomfortable having to look up to view. Bungalow was very clean and comfortable.
