The cottage was lovely, however quiet remote, we chose the cottage as it took dogs, sadly whilst on holiday our dog passed away, it was all very sudden

The lodge was well-equipped and clean. Double bed very comfy but bathroom and carpets throughout were a little tired . Plenty of space and kitchen was very adequate. Garden great for dogs as securely fenced in. However felt a little remote and quite a walk into village to sample the pub /food. Had a fantastic break though .

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback and compliments which are always welcomed. We are pleased that you found the Lodge to be well equipped and clean, and that you had a fantastic break! In reference to your comments regarding the carpets, the only two rooms that have carpet are the two bedrooms and the main bedroom carpet was replaced last year (2015). The bathroom was inspected by the Regional Manger earlier on in the year and no issues were raised. The photographs on the website accurately represent the facilities and décor not only of the bathroom, but the entire Lodge. With regard to the scores that you gave - the low score of ‘4’ for location is of course a matter of personal opinion but the advert does give potential guests a very accurate and detailed description of where the property is before booking. Overall, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back to Devon in the near future.

Honey hanger was a lovely chalet. A bit out of the way and was 10 miles to nearest good town but was peaceful if you wanted to get away from it all would be perfect.
