Beer cottage is a lovely old cottage with a homely feel. Lovely open fire cosy and warm. A bottle of wine in the fridge was a kind gesture. It would have been very nice to have been welcomed with some milk, coffee and tea. It was lucky I had taken tea bags with us. Also more than one dishwasher tablet as there was no washing up liquid either for four days and only one toilet roll.... or soap to wash hands ... really not good. So be prepared to take provisions with you.

Great place bathroom would be difficult with 4 people staying.Needs to be upstairs.People sleeping on top floor have to go through a bedroom to ger to bathroom.Stairs difficult for elderly disabled or young children.Drive needs widening but for 2 adults we liked it.

Charming cottage and village, loads of character. Lovely old pub with good beer just a stone's throw away.

Lovely people, nice place, bath a bit too small, otherwise we could not have been happier.

Short 30 minute drive from Dover. 5 minutes from Canterbury (also P+R available). High Speed train from Canterbury West (Londen within 1 hour). Very friendly and helpful owner. Good pub located at less than 40 yards. Nice and quiet neighourhood. WiFi signal was very strong and stable. A few minor TV channels had some disturbance (but not all the time). On site parking: However it is a tight turn to get on the road if you have a large car. Loved our stay and will come back if we visit this area again.
